Starting with a 1991 NX650, the two-man operation lopped off the donor’s subframe, replacing it with a new section that now supports an Alcantara saddle. For the Honda’s tank, tail section, and air filter covers, Vagabund turned to additive manufacturing, 3D-printing the trio of parts from Polyamide 12.
The same method was also used to create the build’s switchgear housing and indicator brackets.
Other upgrades and details include a Motogadget Motoscope mini sunken into the tank, a bespoke stainless steel exhaust culminating in an Akrapovic can, Wilbers mono-shock, an Off The Road oil cooler, custom triples and bars, custom jerry can holders, a Husqvarna TC85 fender, and a bespoke front luggage rack that now accommodates a set of Kellerman micro-LED indicators and Highsider auxiliary LEDs fulfilling headlight duties.
